On Wings of Over...

So, I ended up getting this on 3/19. I hit revered on the 3/18 and kept egg hunting and did the new dailies. In total I think that I had 132 eggs and turned in just over 90 to go almost completely from Revered to Exalted. NOTE: It took longer to turn in all the eggs than it did to find them. Well, it seemed that way at least.

On Wings of Soon...

Found 24 more eggs between last night and this morning. Total count is up to 64 eggs in 3 days. I have to admit that I have been quite sloppy with this rep grind as I still have a quest to do that will open another daily. I am currently half way through Honored and have 42 eggs in my inventory.

While this might not be optimal, I think that I am going save all the eggs until I hit Revered and see if I have enough to go straight to Exalted in one shot. By my calculations, I will need at most 84 eggs (double what I have now) but should need less when factoring in dailies.

Also, as a side note - the race quests that are available at Honored are exceedingly easy with a 310 flyer. I remember struggling with the last race when I did this on my DK. This time around I concentrated more on looking for eggs than the actual race.

For anyone getting ready to do this rep grind, I would suggest searching for eggs at off-hour times (you may not need to if you are on a low-pop server). Besides the obvious reason (less competition) it seems that the eggs spawn faster or in large quantity when no-one has been collecting them for a number of hours.

I have read that only 10 are spawned/available at any given time and that the spawn timer is between 10-30 minutes, but I have found more than 10 in one run (on multiple occasions) and quite quickly. This seems to break the unofficial, yet mostly agreed upon, rules listed above. Good luck!

On Wings of Maybe Sometime...

Another quick update... I am up to 40 eggs total now on my Netherwing rep run. In two days... that is. It's nice to basically have the place to myself. I have seen one other mage around, sitting AFK both times, but not really worried about him. Warlocks > Mages everytime.

On Wings of Never...

Ok, so as an update.... I've become side tracked on my way to completing the Outland Loremaster meta-achievement. When finishing Nagrand I decided to finish the rep farm for Mag'har and get the Talbuk mounts. That only took about 1 1/2 hours - so not too long of a delay. Currently, I am finishing up my last zone (Shadowmoon Valley) and need about 30 quests to be done. Well, I stumbled across the starting quest for the Netherwing faction and 2 hours later was half way through friendly and still had 11 eggs in my bags.

I've already done this faction rep grind with my DK and it only took me a couple minutes to remember my path when searching for eggs. I collected over 20 eggs, in a short amount of time, and I think that this good luck will keep me in Outland or at least coming back to Outland daily to until the grind is complete. Damn cool looking Netherwing drakes...

The Ultimate Achievement

Now I'll admit that thought about quitting WoW. Once. That never happened. I have always played WoW solo. I have a couple RL friends that play, but their time is very limited. Most of my time is spent running solo. So, I mean, how could I quit WoW without obtaining the Ultimate WoW "Solo" Achievement. Loremaster. Here I am chasing achievements like Frostbitten and What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been...

What do you think is the Ultimate Wow "Solo" Achievement?

P.S. I think that I was probably 75% complete for Loremaster with the old world quests - prior to Cataclsym. Yeah, so I really should have finished it *sigh* Oh well, I've started on this achievement already and I'll keep ya updated on my status.

So far, I went back and finished what was left of Northrend and currently finishing up a lot of quests in Outland. Man, seems I basically skipped most of Outland. I should almost have The Seeker title once I finish Outland. BTW... My DK already has the Loremaster for Northrend and Outland complete.

WoW Daily Q's

This will be a daily (hopefully) feature in which I ask a WoW related question. The purpose is to gather some information but mostly to spark conversation about various topics.

Question:
How does the game lore influence your playing?

This is not a RP related question. I ask based on what you know of the lore and how you use it when you play. As an example, the game is called World of WARcraft and yet almost all WAR-related (at least end game) Horde vs. Alliance battles are more like war games (Arenas, battlegrounds...) I have seen very few world pvp battles between the Horde and the Alliance. Are they truly at WAR? Or are they more like that annoying neighbor who tries to start shit because you accidently mowed one strip into their lawn? I really enjoy pvp and try to engage my enemies, in world pvp, whenever I get the chance. I represent the Horde. I hate the Alliance. We are at WAR. They must die.

Greetings

Greeting all, my name is Jungebez. I have been reading wow-related blogs for quite a while now and thought that I would throw in my 2 copper.

About this blog
I want to share my experience with MMO’s (this will be very WoW flavored) and would like to discuss different aspects of MMO’s that I find interesting. As the blog title eludes… most of my time in MMO’s has been spent playing solo and I will spend a good amount of time on this topic.

Beware the living… Jungebez
